Michael Doherty

With over 20 years of experience in the energy sector Michael began his career with Total in London before joining Centrica’s Energy Marketing & Trading division, where he focused on deal origination. Initially leading UK, Irish, and Continental gas transactions, he shifted his focus to UK renewables deals after 2020. Prior to joining Paratus Michael was the Senior Power Originator for UK-based renewable investment fund Low Carbon, supporting the build-out of renewable power capacity across solar, wind, energy storage, and waste-to-energy projects. He led on PPAs, Corporate PPAs, and structured transactions for their circa 1.5GW asset portfolio across the UK, Europe, and North America.

 

Michael holds a BSc and MSc in Finance and is a graduate of Queen’s University Belfast.
