Clever Mukonowatsauka

Clever Mukonowatsauka is the Head of Guernsey Finance. He provides oversight to the appointed Insurance Manager and financial reporting for the unregulated entities in the Paratus Group.

Clever brings a cross-functional skill set developed over 13 years in captive insurance management and audit, both in Guernsey and South Africa. Clever specialised in financial reporting, treasury and investment management, regulatory compliance, corporate governance and company secretarial. He brings deep technical accounting expertise, specialising in financial reporting controls, audit oversight, and IFRS 17 implementation.

Clever is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds an honours degree in accounting from the University of Johannesburg. He also holds a certificate in International Insurance Management.
